Shukor

I am very friendly, warm and courteous English speaking tour guide with my guests/customers with whom they will feel more like an old friend showing them around George Town UNESCO World Heritage Site since 7 July 2008.

I have more than seven years of city, heritage and nature guiding in George Town the city I was born and grown up. I am able to speak fluent English as a second language and are very comfortable around my guests/customers around the world.

I was certified and licensed by Minisrty of Tourism and Culture, Malaysia and very passionate about explaining the diverse cultural heritage of both tangible and intangible of many ethnics and their customs, belief systems and house of worships, clan houses, shophouses and with years of experience of understanding cultural heritage to multitude of tourists that visits George Town.

I had just completed Cultural Specialist Guide course conducted by UNESCO and Ministry of Tourism and Culture. Since years ago, I use to climbing Penang Hill, the only hill resort in Penang established by the British in early years and also did jungle trekking in Penang National Park long before it was declared a national park in 2003, having some knowledge on plants that I gained as a result of more than five years as In-House Guide at the Tropical Spice Garden, make me more than eager to share it with you.
