We will continue our tour to Aegae, called Vergina today. This was the center of Macedonia during the reign of Philip II. Phillip II, the king of Macedon and father of Alexander the Great, was buried here. Among the 300 tombs, Philip’s is the only one that was not looted. Housed in its original location, certainly, there is no museum in Europe that is comparable.

We look forward to guiding you on your next trip to this fascinating and historical location!
