Trip Info

On this 2.5 hour guided tour of the Catacombs of Paris, you’ll go deep under the city to the haunting burial place of over 6 million French citizens. During this unique experience you’ll explore more than a kilometer of tunnels that comprise this underground tomb.

Your guide will tell you about the extraordinary and often disturbing history of the Catacombs and how they came to be a final resting place for so many Parisians. Originally the Catacombs were limestone quarries where stones were mined to build some of the most famous bridges and buildings in Paris.

  1. 5 out of 5
