Trip Info

Discover the beauty and unique cultures of the Annapurna Mountain region on this trekking tour. You will be amazed at the views from the shores of picturesque Lake Phewa, through the subtropical valleys and rice fields to the high ridges of rhododendron forest. The Panchase area is also known for a wide variety of birds and animals.

You will also have the opportunity to explore the many cultures in the area including Brahmin, Magar and Gurung. We’ll spend a day resting in Ghandruk, the largest Gurung village in the area.

Upon your arrival at Kathmandu, your guide will meet you and transfer you to your hotel. A short briefing will follow concerning the necessary formalities and your itinerary. If there is time that day, you will be free to visit nearby attractions or rest.

The next morning will start with a half-day sightseeing tour around Kathmandu. You will visit Buddhist and Hindu temples and shrines and explore the city’s many places of interest. In the evening, sample a delicious traditional Nepali dinner.

On the third day, we will drive or fly, depending on your request, to Pokhara. we will spend the evening and night near Lake Phewa.

In the morning, we drive to Thado Khola, passing beautiful Davis Falls on the way. Our trek begins with us heading to Bhumdi through lush forest with interesting flora and fauna. In Bhumdi, we will have good views of Himalchuli, Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, Annapurna Range and Fishtail.

During our trek the next day, you will view the beautiful mountains along the trail as we head to Bhanjyang. It is a small settlement at the foot of Panchase. Enjoy the views over Pokhara Valley and Phewa Lake.

In the morning, we hike to the Panchase Hill summit at 2,500 meters for a panoramic view of the Annapurna peaks, Dhaulagiri and Manaslu. We will trek through sparse forests and pastures to Chitre.

The next day, we pass scattered villages to the village of Matathanti.

Day eight will see us trek to Ghaundrung, the largest Gurung village in the region.

We will rest the next day in Ghaundrung and enjoy the scenic beauty of the area and the town.

There are many exciting trails in the morning as we head downhill to Modi Khola, crossing a suspension bridge. The trail turns uphill to Landrung Village and walk through woodlands to Deurali before a gradual downhill stretch to Pothana.

After breakfast, we walk to Damphus, along the ridge to Phedi. We will pass rice fields and villages on the way. From here, we head back to Pokhara. You’ll have time to relax or explore the Pokhara area.

In the morning, we drive or fly back to Kathmandu.

You will be transferred to the airport the next day.
