Trip Info

The Palermo Gallery Walk curates a tour of innovative contemporary art in a flourishing, emerging arts scene and leads you on an insightful, visually stimulating tour of some of the best art being produced in South America.

Enticed by unique, spacious abandoned industrial buildings, artists and curators have been moving to Palermo and Villa Crespo to open workshops and galleries. This extended neighborhood is now home to dozens of galleries and is establishing itself as an international hub for contemporary art.

During this interactive walking tour, you will explore the growing, avant-garde art scene of this emerging market by speaking one on one with the curators, gallery owners and artists who are constructing the local art scene. Your educated guide will share insight about art trends, artists, and the galleries.

The tour will visit five to eight galleries and will also pass by several murals by renowned and anonymous street artists that are challenging established paradigms of art production and display.
