- Explore the "mystic axis of the world" at Pachacamac.
- Stop to admire spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean and the Wetlands of Villa.
- Stroll through the quaint, bohemian district of Barranco.
Start the day with a pick-up from your hotel and drive to the south of Lima where you can visit the archeological site of Pachacamac. This sacred and ceremonial place is considered a part of the mystic axis of the world and is a major pre-Hispanic ceremonial center of the Pacific Coast of America. Visit the various temples built of mud bricks, including the Temple of the Sun and Adobito’s Temple, and then enjoy some free time for sightseeing and exploring the local artisan handcrafts sold nearby.
After you explore Pachacamac, head over to the Barranco district of Lima, passing the beautiful Green Coast beaches and the Wetlands of Villa, and arriving in Lima’s smallest and most bohemian district. Enjoy a walk along the Bridge of Sights, visit a stunning 19th-century church, and look out over the sprawling city from a viewpoint by the Pacific Ocean.
