    Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the tour is scheduled to start. Water is for sale in the Viking Biking shop. Bathrooms are available.


  • The medieval/rennaissance castle of Akershus Festning, with time to walk the old castle walls on your own;
  • The City Hall (home of the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony), with time to visit the interior;
  • The main street of Karl Johans Gate and the Royal Palace
  • Vigeland Sculpture Park, with plenty of time to discover this world famous site;
  • The modern harbor of Tjuvholmen/Aker Brygge, where there is an option to swim weather permitting!

Discover all of the major sites in about 3 hours in a fun and relaxed manner as we bike car-free paths, parks, quiet back streets, and along the fjord. There is plenty of time for stops and pictures. The guide will not only reveal the history behind the monuments and buildings, but cover topics relating to Norwegian culture and politics as well as modern life in Oslo.

Fitness Level:

This tour is for all riders and no specific fitness level is required. The riding is mostly flat except for a couple of short inclines and a 2 minute hill leading up to the Royal Palace. Total distance covered is about 11km (7 miles).
