Stabiae is difficult to reach by public transportation. It is better to organize a private car or bus. The entrance fees are not included.
- Oplontis: was a town three miles from Pompeii, in the Roman Empire. Today it is marked in the Peutingeriana Plate, with the name of Oplontis, it was best known as a residential neighbourhood of Pompeii, a place for the wealthy who wanted to escape from the noise and the chaos of city life.
- Stabiae: was one of the most favorite holiday destinations for Roman Patricians and was buried by an eruption in 79 AD. Stabiae was discovered in 1749 by Bourbon excavators, and it was not until 1950 that two magnificent villas on the Varano Hill, were partially excavated.
- Visit Villa Arianna, which was built in 2nd Century and features the famous fresco of Flora or Spring, one of the most highly valued work of classic antiquity.
- Visit Villa San Marco, one of the largest, best-preserved Roman villas. Her incredible interiors, private bath area, and panoramic pool takes the visitors in the world of luxury on the ancient time.
