Trip Info

This Painting tour led by Artist and Fine Arts instructor Judith M. Atkinson provides an excellent opportunity to discover the beauty of the South Okanagan landscape. During a stay in the South Okanagan, tour participants will explore the rich countryside and see a different quality of light, colour and texture of the landscape that will inform their creative work. Tour participants will be able to sketch and paint in the Plein Air tradition in the vineyards, visit local wineries and soak up the sun and the atmosphere and render that imagery creatively in their paintings. There will be excursions to local galleries and local artist’s studios and there will be time to enjoy the lovely beaches while recording artistic experiences to remember.
