  • The offshore waters are highly productive and many different runs of fish transit these waters on their way to their home rivers.
  • We can target both salmon and halibut, making these trips usually highly productive.
  • You may encounter humpback whales, porpoises and sea bird life while fishing offshore.

Trip Info

Enjoy a fishing adventure chasing the great salmon and halibut, as well as others! These are two to four day trips, aimed at running offshore to some of the most productive fishing on the West Coast of Vancouver Island. Unwind in the evenings at fantastic fishing lodges, located in Bamfield.

Our trips start from Port Alberni, where we will pick you and drop you off. Bamfield is a one-hour run down the Alberni Inlet. Once in Bamfield, we will use that lodge location for our day trips offshore.

Once offshore, we can fish for abundant Chinook, Coho, halibut and lingcod. Offshore is open ocean, so we can encounter ocean swells while fishing. If the weather isn’t cooperating, we will simply move inshore to fish the inside protected waters of Barkley Sound. Your safety and concern are of utmost importance.

Your adventure awaits!
