The Archaeological Museum P. Griffo of Agrigento contains a wide quantity of objects related with the history of Akragas and a tour with an archaeologist could permit you to understand better their use, their meaning and to immagine the everyday life of this extraordinary Greek town. The museum has a rich collection of Attic black figured and red figured vases and an unusual withered ground crater. The most impressive room is dedicated to Zeus and its huge temple and you could gaze at the enormous Giant/Telamon. You could see also a lot of offerings, most of them clay figurines, related to the myth of Demeter and Kore, the marble warrior, the marble ephebo and so on.
