Trip Info

Up for a challenging, yet very beautiful run? Interested in running at altitude (over 8,000 ft or 2,500m)? Want to escape the oppressive Las Vegas summer heat? Then this run tour will not disappoint. Average summer temperatures up around Mt. Charleston are 20 degrees cooler than down in the Las Vegas Valley. The trails are shrouded in shade by Ponderosa Pine and Bristlecone pine trees (some as old as 200 years old). You will love running through subalpine meadows and aspen stands. This run tour aims to please and will provide a refreshing change from the city.
