Trip Info

Get ready for an incredible challenge on this mountaineering tour to the top of Mount Damavand from south face. On this strenuous hike, you will meet local people as you climb through spectacular scenery around Damavand. Capture the memorable trip with photos of the majestic volcano. We will have one day as an acclimatization day for the summit to prepare you for the journey.

In the early morning at 6 a.m., you will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to Rineh Village, which is our base camp. From here, we climb to 3rd camp, known as Bargah-e Sevom.

The next day will be our acclimatization day to prepare for the high altitude. We will hike from the shelter to a frozen waterfall that is at about 5,000 meters and return.

In the morning, it will be time to hike to the summit at 5,671 meters. We will start climbing from 4,200 meters. This will be the hardest day as we push for the summit, which usually takes about six to seven hours. We will then return to 3rd camp.

After breakfast, we descend the mountain and drive back to Tehran.
