Trip Info

Enjoy three days of exploring the spectacular landscape, rich culture and amazing wildlife of the region. Your driver guide will pick you up early in the morning and you will enjoy the scenery as we drive along the Mombasa Nairobi highway. Upon arrival at Bachuma Gate, your wildlife safari begins with a game drive. Visit various places including Aruba Dam at the Tsavo East National Park.

The park is the largest and oldest game park in Kenya and located near the village of Voi in the Taita Taveta District of coast province. The park is divided into East and West sections by the A109 road and the railway line. It’s home to the Big Five of the elephant, lion, rhino, leopard and buffalo. Also, you will see giraffes, hippos, common zebras, antelopes, warthogs, cheetahs and baboons. We will also have an evening game drive before dinner and overnight at Zomeni Lion Hills Camp.

In the morning, we will leave for Amboseli National Park to check in to Kibo Safari Camp. After lunch, we will have a game drive at one of the mostly visited game and second most popular park in Kenya after Maasai Mara National Reserve. The park protects two of the five main swamps and includes a dried up Pleistocene Lake and semi-arid vegetation. Some of the major attractions include grassland, savannah, acacia forests, buffalos, lions, elephants, hyenas, giraffes, Nile Hippos, warthogs, Thomson Gazelles, wild beast, cheetahs, antelopes and zebras. Over 450 bird species have been recorded here including ostrich, storks, pelicans and crown birds.

This is the best place in Africa to get close to free ranging herds of elephants among other wildlife species. Other attractions in the park will be opportunities to meet the Maasai people and enjoy spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa and the highest freestanding mountain in the world.

An early start in the morning will see a game drive before heading to Voi town for lunch. We will then drive back to Mombasa.
