Trip Info

Enjoy a full week in Southern Morocco to explore the dunes of Marzouga, one of the most beautiful landscapes in the world, and also the Berber villages on this desert tour.
You will cross the valley of roses, atlases and gorges before finally reaching the desert. Camels take you to a Tuareg camp where a night of stars awaits you before leaving for the visit of Agdz and Ouarzazate. We will guide you from beginning to end, ensuring transport from the Medina of Marrakech and the airport. After the tour you will have a free day to visit Marrakech.

Program :

Day 1: Marrakech –Telouet-ait ben haddou- Ouarzazate – Skoura – Dades Valley.

Pickup from Marrakech at 7:00 am. We will drive for approximately 2 hours through the Atlas Mountains via the Tizi ‘n Tichka pass, stopping for photos along the way, and stopping to have breakfast. We will stop to visit the town of Telouet and its ancient 17th century kasbah.

Then, we will drive in the direction of Ourzazate where we will visit the UNESCO protected Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah. We will have lunch here and then visit the Atlas Film Studios. Afterwards, we will drive to Skoura, a town that overlooks many other beautiful kasbahs, in the direction of Dades Valley. The night will be spent at a hotel in Dades Valley.

Day 2: Dades Valley – Todhra Gorges – Erfoud – Merzouga – Camel Trek – Desert Camp.

Breakfast and departure at 9:00 am. We will drive for approximately 2 hours along the Dades River and stop at some kasbahs and berber villages along the way. We will have lunch in the town of Tinjdad, and finally head in the direction Merzouga, our final destination for the day. We will arrive at the hotel to meet the camels and take an approximate two hour camel ride into the desert to our berber tents. The night will be spent in the tents.

Day 3: Sahara Desert – Rissani – Tazzarine – Draa Valley – Tamnougalt.
Ride the camels back to the hotel, and have breakfast at the hotel. Depart at 9:00 am toward the towns of Alnif and Tazarrine. We will stop for lunch in the town of N’kob, known for its palm groves. After lunch, we will drive to the city of Tamnougalt and spend the night at the hotel.

Day 4:Tamnougalt-Taourirt Kasbah-Algimouss Village-high atlas.

You will have breakfast at the hotel. Departure will be at 9:00 am. Our route will take us through the route of the “Thousand Kasbahs”, and a visit to the famous Glaoui Kasbah in Taourirt. We will drive to Amerzgane, and stop at Algimouss for a break. Finally, we will drive via the Tizi ‘n Tichka mountain pass back to Marrakech. Arrival in the evening.
