Trip Info

This half-day walking tour covers the ‘Old Town’ of Barcelona.  Barcelona has one of the largest Medieval districts in Europe, bursting with Old-World flair and architectural diversity.  Your Barcelona Tour guide will lead you through a maze of narrow winding streets and back in time as you experience the Barcelona of years past.  Explore the Cathedral, former Jewish District, Sant Jaume square, and the Placa del Rei, or Square of the King.  Leaving the Gothic Quarter and moving on the the Ribera, or shore, District, have the chance to experience the Santa Maria del Mar church.  This area served as a home for sailors, traders, and craftsmen to live and work throughout the Middle Ages.  At the end of the tour, your journey will end at the Rambla, where you can enjoy its open air terraces and watch the crowds go by!
