- One time experience to be able to see a real lava lake in the moment and splashing lava against the wall of the crater.
- The only volcano in line in the world, monitoring system connected so that anyone could find out what are the actual moments of this volcano
- One of the 6 gates of hell is how it is called by National Geographic and it was considered a spiritual site for the natives
We will start with a pick up at any hotel in Managua or Granada and drive you to the National Park of Masaya (25 Min). This is a 52 Square km volcanic caldera that has been formed in the past thousands of years and now has two different volcanoes inside. At the moment there is a crater called Santiago that has a lava lake that can be seen from the rim of the crater at any time of the day. You won’t need to hike or walk to be able to see this spectacular creation of mother earth. Don’t miss this moment to see lava in action like no other place in the world. Now there are two options going during the day from 9 AM to 4 PM and you will have a chance to see the visitor center that has rooms full of information about geology, geography, nature and wildlife but also a small store of souvenirs. The night tour starts at 5 PM and you will have an amazing view of the lava but it will take just 5 minutes at the main view point and it cost $10 dollars just the entry fee per person.
