Guide

Trip Info

Visit the renowned Majorelle Gardens on this carriage tour. This wonderful tropical garden houses fountains, pools, forests of bamboo, cactus and a fabulous private museum collection. Over 15 exclusive North African bird species can be found here. Bright, cobalt blue buildings dot the garden which was laid out by a French artist, Louis Majorelle and later restored by Yves Saint Laurent.

An expression of the timeless aspect of Moroccan life, the ramparts dominate Marrakech with their characteristic red stone walls and superb gates. At over six-miles long, the city ramparts are among the main attractions of Marrakech. Well-preserved with a height ranging from approximately 25 to 32-feet, 10 gates pierce the wall as entry points. The most well-known of these gates is Bab Khemis. Several gates have also been models for other Moroccan cities.
