This trekking tour offers great and amazing views of the world’s eighth highest peak Mount Manaslu, along with the rich culture and incomparable beauty of nature. The word Manaslu means the spirit mountain and is still a very untouched destination in Nepal. Manaslu Circuit is without any doubt the most adventurous trekking route in Nepal. It lies in the western part of the Nepal and is very close to the border of Tibet and mainly habitat with Mongolian people.
Upon arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport, you will be met by our representative and transferred to hotel. The next day will be dedicated to sightseeing at Kathmandu Valley and preparation for the trek.
An early morning start after breakfast will see us drive to Arughat. It is one of the big bazaars for the local people. After a brief stop, we continue to Soti Khola for overnight. Our trek will begin in the morning as we head through the beautiful Sal Forest and climb uphill to Khursane. From here, we pass through the tropical waterfalls, rice terraces, Gurung village of Labubesi and finally to the Macchha Khola Village.
In the morning, we trek on narrow trails and passing a rocky ravine before stopping at the hot spring at Tatopani. We continue over challenging terrain and a suspension bridge over the Doban Khola. We will stay at Jagat overnight. The next day we have a short walk from Jagat to Philim for a night stay.
Day seven will have us trek with views of attractive waterfalls on the sides of the valley. After walking through the millet fields to EkleBatti for a short break, we continue to the village of Deng for the night. After breakfast, we trek to a trail that passes through the forest and Mani Stone (prayer stones), which gives the sign that we are in the Buddhist area. From Prok, we have the best viewpoint for the views of Siringi Himal as well as views of snowcapped mountain we can explore around an interesting monastery in Prok. We will return to Namrung for overnight at a hotel.
Today we will have magnificent views of Ganesh Himal as we continue to the Fir Forest. Our walk takes us to the Sama Monastery, near Sama Gaon, a village that is the home of Tibetan and situated at the foot of Manaslu. We will stay here overnight. The next day will be an acclimatization day at Samagaon. If you are feeling healthy, we will go up to the Manaslu Base Camp to pack all the necessary food and material needed during the trek to Manaslu Base Camp.
Day 11 sees us through the grazing areas and slowly climb the valley with the amazing views of Mount Manaslu as we reach Samdo. In the afternoon, we can explore the village and experience the local culture, the lifestyle and people of this village are warmhearted. Stay overnight at Samdo. Today after breakfast, we trek to Dharmashala for an overnight stay.
After leaving the Dharmashala, we climb to Larkya La Pass where we can see the panoramic views of Himlung Himal, Cheo Himal, Gyagi Kung, Kang Kuru and the Annapurna II. From Larkya La Pass, we continue to Bhimphedi for overnight. In the morning, we slowly walk through the paddy fields, scenic environment and crossing the small Karcha La Pass moving down through the Rhododendron Forest. We will spend the night at Tilje.
Early in the morning after breakfast, we start our trek to Chamche for the night. Early morning start will see us drive to Kathmandu. Enjoy the landscape of rivers, green hills, mountains, farming terraces and villages on both sides of road. Once at Kathmandu, we will transfer to the hotel. After a rest, you can shop and in the evening you will have a farewell dinner with your tour operator.
Today, as per your international flight time, you will be transferred to the airport.
