Manaslu Circuit trekking holds amazing views of the Manaslu which bounds the Annapurna Conservation Area to the west and the Tibetan Plateau to the north and east. In Sanskrit, Manaslu mean “Mountain of the Spirit”. Mount Manaslu (8163 m) is the eighth highest peak in the world. Along with striking views of Himalchuli (7893m), Manaslu (8163m), Ganesh Himal, Ngadi Chuli (7879m) and other stunning peaks, you will also spot beautiful varied landscape and diversity in plants and wildlife.
Since 1991, Manaslu trekking is carried out around Mt. Manaslu, which presents a spectacle into chaste natural and cultural conditions of the region. Similarly, the Manaslu trekking path takes us to Samagaon, most significant village in the region. We cross the immense glacier of Larkya La pass (5106m), a unique and uneven route between the Budhi Gandaki with the Marsyangdi valley where a panoramic picture including Manaslu, Cheo and Himlung awaits you. Above the pass we walk out through the Marshandgi valley, following the Dudhkoshi River in now the Annapurna Conservation Area in Manang through Magar villages. We then move down passing alongside eye-catching alpine pastures at Bimtang, before combining the main Annapurna Circuit road and finally the trailhead to Besi Sahar.
Tibetan immigrants have settled to this distant region of Nepal, and the villages here represent generations of these people. Their language, dress and customs are almost similar to Tibetan people. In low region there are many other castes of peoples like Brahmans, Chhetries, Newars, Ghales, Gurungs, and Tamangs. The stone-roofed Buddhist villages such as Namrung, Lho, Samaguan, and Sambdo set next to the towering giants of Manaslu and the Himalchuli Massif are really superb. A typical environment of Manaslu trekking route is wonderfully rich in bio diversity that has made this region one of the best tourist destinations of Trekking in Nepal for many years. Encounter Nepal designs Manaslu Circuit Trek which is one of the popular adventurous trekking holiday routes in Nepal and lets you witness an incredible combination of age old Tibetan culture heritage, chaste Himalayan lure and a range of biological diversity.
