Guide

Trip Info

Trek Manaslu Circuit, an epic walk centered around Mt. Manaslu, the 8th highest mountain in the world, looming 8163 m above sea level. It is a good alternative to the classic Annapurna Circuit Trek (lately trekkers are looking for a good alternative to Annapurna circuit due to its charm being swallowed by the newly constructed bumpy dirt road). Due to the reason that the Manaslu area has only allowed access to foreigners since 1991, the area is still untrampled and exclusively exciting as it only sees few trekkers annually. It is still categorized as a restricted trekking region.

On the trekking tour, you will walk close to the Nepalese -Tibet border for several days, where the village life is much as it has been for hundreds of years. With extensive wilderness in the lower elevation and great mountain views at higher elevations, this moderately strenuous trek takes you through a geographically spectacular and culturally fascinating area, crossing Larkya La Pass (5,213m), the highest point in the trek. It is believed to be one of the most exciting passes of the Himalayas. It provides superb views of Himal Himlung Himal (7,125m), Cheo Himal (6,820m), Kang Guru (6,981m), Annapurna II (7,939m), and Manaslu (8163m).
