Trip Info

Manaslu Circuit Trekking is lately authorized for the foreigners and has become a popular trekking in the north west of Gorkha. The trek begins from the Sotikhola after the road expansion and goes through the ethnic territory of Gurung people. Mt. Manaslu (8156m) is a prime attraction of this trek, which is the eighth highest peak in the world. The initial portion of the trek heads along the Budi Gandaki river and Marshyangdi in the concluding section.

The Manaslu Circuit trail is predominantly populated by the Tibetan Buddhists, with their vibrant culture. Government policy has been implemented to open the trail as a restricted area trekking in Nepal, The vicinity around Manaslu is relatively untouched and unexplored. The Manaslu conservation area project has safeguarded the land of the snow leopard. Culturally, Samagaon is a noteworthy village to see the real Tibetan culture and enjoy a hiking day through the rhododendron forest. The extensive views of snowy peaks as Manaslu, Lamjung, Larke peak and the environs resemble the worth of the Manaslu trek. Larke Pass at 5160 meters is the challenging section of the trip, including the steep descending. The final section of the trek has two options, either to continue descending via Tilije or to join the Annapurna Circuit trek via Thorong La Pass and conclude it in Jomsom.

Succeeding the trek in round Manaslu, you need to be physically fit and acclimatized. Mountain Delights Treks and Expedition offers expert services by following the safety measures. We recommend Spring and Autumn as the Manaslu trekking season. Join with us for a wonderful trek.
