Trip Info

Lake Manapouri is arguably the most beautiful Lake in New Zealand. With its many islands, hidden coves and sandy beaches, it will simply take your breath away. Join us on our 3 hour magical sunset sail and cruise with us along unspoiled islands to a sheltered cove where we stop the motor to listen to nature and a live piano recital performed by a trained pianist. Music includes pieces by Chopin, Beethoven and other great masters or relaxing music by L. Einaudi. Dream.

Enjoy the amazing backdrop of Lake Manapouri, hopefully with a stunning sunset. You will be spoiled with a delicious nibble platter. We cruise at a leisurely speed. There is lots of time to stop for pictures or go to ashore to explore the lush Fiordland bush. This cruise can be booked as a shared cruise or charters for up to 9 people. We are happy to arrange a free pick up on request from your accommodation. We look forward to seeing you aboard our cozy and warm POMONA soon.

Your hosts,

Kerstin and Jimmy
