Trip Info
We start our walking tour inside the city walls reading the history of the roman period and discovering how the town was built in II century B.C. We continue discovering the development of Lucca, during the centuries, from the Middle Age to XIX c.
We visit churches, squares and palaces with focus on some of the most famous beasts and animals reproduced on the facade of churches: the church of Saint Michele, the Cathedral of Saint Martino and other interesting sites. Walk along the Via Fillungo, the shopping road of Lucca and the medieval towers centre. From the Fillungo, we arrive to one of the most important squares, Piazza Anfiteatro. The exceptional piazza corresponds to the Roman arena of II century A.C.
Your adventure awaits!
