Trip Info

Ten-hut! It’s time to set your bearings (and enjoy some tasty bites) on one of San Diego’s oldest military bases known as the Naval Training Center (NTC) at Liberty Station. Take a stroll through the newly opened, Liberty Public Market, and get a first hard glimpse of the growing food scene in this up-and-coming area. Along the walk, marvel at the Spanish Colonial Revival style architecture while learning how the same barracks the military used over 60 years ago are being completely re-purposed today.

You will savor a wide range of bites on this walking tour including fresh, organic juice, gourmet cheese, a witty sandwich bite (or two), Southern Italian and more.
