Trip Info

Learn about the history of farming first-hand on this visit to a working farm. You will see more than 60 antique horse-drawn farm equipment that includes working pieces. We are constantly focusing on having every piece we collect restored to working condition.

As we are a working farm using horses for much of our work, we encourage visitors to become involved and have an interactive experience. You can choose from activities such as farm tours, winter sleigh rides, wagon and carriage rides, a fall corn maze and a pumpkin patch.

Living history demonstrations of wagon rides, interactive blacksmithing, corn shelling and grinding, rope making, candle dipping and farm demonstrations are available. You can also feed the farm animals and collect fresh eggs from the henhouse.

Enjoy strolling around the place to see our animals. Most of our horses are Belgians. We have a Mammoth Jack for breeding our mares as well as outside mares to create mules. We have a petting zoo to teach about animals such as llamas, mini donkeys, cows, chickens, riding horses, ponies and pot-bellied pigs.

We sell eggs from free range chickens. We also breed and sell pygmy goats and mini donkeys.. We also operate Adirondack sleigh rides in Lake Placid, NY. Sleigh rides are available through February, weather permitting.
