Trip Info

The world’s longest and steepest descent awaits on this mountain biking tour! Experience the non-stop downhill action that starts on the Tibetan Plateau and winds 150 km down to the rice fields of Nepal, a 4600 metre descent!

Ride through Tibet on crushed stone roads and over mountain passes. A highlight of the journey is the monastery of Rongbuk and seeing the Everest Base Camp. The only trip in the world where you visit the Base Camp on bicycle!

Stay overnight in hotels and tents throughout the journey, looked after by an experienced crew of guides, cooks and drivers from Nepal and Tibet.

This mountain biking experience will also bring you into contact with three religions (Buddhism, Lamaism and Hinduism) and act as an introduction to the mysticism of Tibetan culture, the friendliness of the people and the daily culture in villagers’ lives.
