- Fantastic dry fly and nymph fishing to both trout and smallmouth yellowfish....these are all wild mountain fish.
- Experiencing the Basotho culture and enjoying a safari style mountain adventure.
- Having dinners under the starlit Basotho skies around the 'camp' fire.
- Guiding by a world-class guide that understands the workings of the fish, river and the environment.
- San rock art visits.
Lesotho is the highest country in the world and home to the Basutho people that mainly live a peaceful, subsistence lifestyle. The country is landlocked by the borders of South Africa and has long been famous for its pristine streams and wild trout and yellowfish fishery. The rivers are often clear enough to sight fish to with both dry fly and nymph. We stay in clean Basotho style huts for our accommodation and the guides prepare fresh and tasty meals every day. These are adventure trips and anglers need to be fairly fit to enjoy hiking or pony trekking into the mountains after these fish. These trips take anglers to remote destinations in the mountains and the scenery and solitude is breathtaking. To ensure that clients get the most of the experience we take a maximum of 4 people per trip.
Your adventure awaits!
