Take in the very best the Nepal has to offer on this 11-day trekking tour. This tour will bring you on an adventure to the amazing Langtang Valley where you’ll enjoy many amazing views and new challenges.
Day one will start with your arrival to the Kathmandu International Airport. You’ll be transferred to your hotel where you will receive a quick briefing of the trip followed by an introduction to the team. End your first day, with a welcome dinner and dance at a local restaurant with your fellow travelers and team.
Day two will consist of a sightseeing tour of Kathmandu and the preparation of your trek. While in the city, you will see amazing landmarks and areas such as Thamel, the Boudhanath Stupa and Durbar Square among others. Later in the day, you will finalize your gear for your trek.
The third day of this tour will start with a drive to Syabrubesi. You’ll spend most of this day on the bus and will drive by locations such as Trishuli Bazaar and Dhunche. You can enjoy spectacular views of the mountain terrains, Ganesh Himal and farming settlements.
Day four will be the start of your trekking experience. This six-hour trek will bring you up to 8,054ft above sea level. Along the way, you will cross the Bhote Koshi River, visit the small village of Syabru Besi, cross the Langtang River and finish at the amazing Lama Hotel. You’ll stay the night here resting up for tomorrows trek. You’ll wake up on day five and begin your amazing trek to Langtang, which sits at 12,253ft. During this day, you will pass through the Langtang Khola crossing, Chhunama and Ghodatabela. You’ll also have the opportunity to stop at the Thyngsyap village to meet the locals.
Day six will include a very short trek. You’ll have the opportunity to acclimatize to the elevation by trekking only 400ft to Keynjing Gompa. Day seven will be a day of relaxing and exploring. You’ll have the option of heading to Tsergo RI or going up to see the glacier.
Days eight to eleven will include your descent of the mountains. You’ll have the opportunity to stop at many of the areas you saw on the way up if you’d like. Once you reach Kathmandu, you’ll be free to explore or head to the airport for your flight home.
