Discover some of the most amazing landscapes in the world on this awesome trekking tour in Nepal. This ten-day tour will introduce you to the Langtang Valley region and much more along the way.
Start your tour off with your arrival to Kathmandu and a transfer to your hotel. You’ll be free to spend the rest of this day relaxing or exploring the city as you please. Day two will introduce you to your trekking guide and consist of short shopping session to pick up any gear the you may need for the trek and a sightseeing tour. Some of the areas you may see on the tour include Pashupatinath, the Boudhanath Stupa, the Patan Durbar Square and much more.
Day three will be mostly a travel day. You’ll hop on a bus and ride for six hours to Syabru Besi. Along the way, you’ll enjoy amazing views of the countryside. The fourth day of the tour will be the start of your trek. You’ll enjoy five hours of easy-to-moderate walking to the Lama Hotel, which sits at 2,500 metres above sea level. Along the way, you’ll see the Langtang Khola, the Bhote Koshi River and many species of wildlife including langur monkeys, bears, red pandas and bee hives.
Day five will be a tougher day. You’ll spend almost seven hours walking on amazing river banks, through grass meadows and across a log bridge before reaching Langtang Village. This day will bring you all the way up to 3,430 metres. The sixth day of the tour will bring you up another 400 metres to Kyanjin Gompa. Along the way, you will cross the Langtang Khola River suspension bridge and enjoy views of the mountains, the buddhist monasteries and yak pastures.
The seventh day of this amazing adventure will surely be the hardest. You’ll trek up to Tsergo Ri, which sits at 4,984 metres and will have the opportuntity to enjoy panoramic views of the mountains.
Days eight to ten will consist of your trek down the mountains and drive back to Kathmandu. Once back in Kathmandu, you’ll be free to sightsee or continue on your journeys.
