Trip Info

The Langtang Valley trek is a moderate grade teahouse trek. This trek is located just to the south of the Tibetan border, located between the core Himalayan range and the Ganesh Himal. This trekking tour allows you to explore the natural glory of these beautiful, snowy mountains. Trek though multiple types of terrains, from fir and rhododendron trees, to glacial moraines.

You will be picked up from the airport, and then transported to your hotel. After checking into your hotel, you will have the remainder of the day to explore Kathmandu. The next morning, we will make the 9 hour drive to Syabru Besi, the starting point at the food of Langtang Valley. This drive offers scenic views of the the Annapurnas, Ganesh Himal, Manaslu, and the peaks of the Langtang region. You will spend a night at a lodge in Syabru Besi, before commencing the trek early the next morning.

This trek consists of long, difficult perpendicular climbs and descents. Despite the difficulty, you will enjoy the amazing mountain views and captivating villages. While crossing the high passes, you will be able to view the picturesque holy lake Gosainkunda, and a Sherpa village. Learn about the Sherpa history, and embrace the culture of the villages you visit. This trekking tour is the perfect blend of challenging adventure and rewarding views of the world as it should really be seen – untouched.

At the end of the trek, you will be transferred back to Kathmandu. Once back in Kathmandu, we will eat at a traditional Nepali kitchen, so you can experience the cuisine one last time. Spend the rest of the night being entertained by the cultural dancing, before spending the night at your hotel.
