The Langtang valley has earned a reputation as being a spectacularly beautiful adventure for both those who may not have extensive previous trekking experience as well as eager explorers looking for a unique, easily accessible journey into the untamed beauty of Nepal. According to many experts, the Langtang valley is considered to be one of the most rewarding short treks available anywhere in Nepal. The east-west running valley is home to spectacular alpine scenery as well as a diverse collection of local cultures and communities.
Typically, a minimum of one week is required to fully enjoy this trek, but travelers are advised to add a few additional days to their journey for acclimatization and side trips into the valley. Throughout the journey, you will be given the opportunity to fully explore Langtang National Park. Although the spectacular wildlife in the region is never easy to spot, particularly in a forest setting, you will have ample time to observe some of the more unique and interesting animals and birds prevalent in the area, including monkeys, musk deer, pika and the national bird of Nepal, the colorful danphe. Typically, our expert guides recommend starting this trek from either Dhunche or Syabrubesi, depending upon your personal preferences and the logistics of your travel.
We look forward to guiding you!
