In celebration of Lafayette’s return tour to the United States in 1824, you can visit the locations that the Marquis did in Northern Virginia that summer. The Lafayette Tour includes admission, transportation, and an expert guide for groups up to five persons to Mount Vernon, Gadsby’s Tavern Museum, and the Lee Mansion at Arlington for $199. Available in the month of June. June 10 – 12 only: For no extra charge, visit the tall ship L’Hermione in Alexandria Harbor, a replica of the ship Lafayette commissioned to return him to America in 1780.
