Having written extensively on the Greek language and culture, she is a real connoisseur on those topics and loves conveying her experience to her guests, together with her insider’s knowledge of the Kyparissi town regarding the locals’ traditions and way of living.

Here’s how we’ll spend the day and what we’ll do together.

1. Introduction: Greek history/culture
The visitors will get a real understanding of Greek history as it evolved and helped create the modern Greek culture over the centuries. He will also learn about local past and contemporary Greek customs, traditions and music, with a special mention of Greek feasts and celebrations which are an integral part of local lifestyle away from the big cities.

2. Agro and natural walkabouts
The guests will visit local olive oil mills and will learn how the famous local olive oil is being extracted and produced. They will also visit traditional livestock units and farms in the area, in order to understand the way they operate and the type of products they produce. Last, the guests will take a walk along designated Natura paths and explore the intricacies of the local landscape.

3. Learn how to bake bread
Ever since the ancient years, bread baking has always been a unique activity in Greece, whereby one can find tens, if not hundreds, of local recipes and baking methods. The visitors will acquire a hands-on experience on the essentials of bread-making and they will also get to bake and taste their own bread loaves.
