Trip Info

It is the most comprehensive day trip, and we’ll see a lot about Balinese everyday life, typical landscape of rice paddies and culture. We start the trip with a presentation of typical Balinese dance: The Barong and Kris dance in the village of Batubulan. This dance represents the perpetual struggle between good and evil; witness musicians and dancers dressed in the most colorful costumes. Then we visit a typical Balinese house in Batuan. Then we passed the town of Ubud known for its handicrafts and paintings, as well as the people of Kemenuh famous for its wood carvings.

The tour continues with a visit to the Elephant Cave, a cave where eleventh century Hindu and Buddhist saints meditated. From here we begin the ascent to the volcano of Kintamani, take typical pictures and admire the idyllic views of the volcano and Lake Batur. Once back, we visit the temple of the Holy Spring of Sebatu and ended with view of the terraced rice fields of Tegallalang. Back to the hotel.
