One is the Kintai Bridge in the city of Iwakuni, in Yamaguchi Pref. , next to Hiroshima Pref. One of the three beautiful bridges in Japan, the Kintai Bridge is a historical wooden arch bridge. Its unique figure and beautiful scenery of the Kikko park attract lots of travelers all year round.
The other is one of the World Heritage Sites, Itsukushima Shrine in Miyajima. Miyajima, which means “Shrine Island, is famous for the magnificent Itsukushima Shrine extending over the sea on long pillars. Its large red torii is renowned for the impression it gives of floating on the sea. You can see some of famous Japanese traditional architectures in one day.
