Join us on the king of all wildlife safaris! This 21 day safari explores two of Kenya’s premier game parks, Uganda’s Bwindi Impenetrable National Park , and the Rwandan vibe in Kigali. There is no tour that showcases the best of East Africa like the Kenya to Kigali Adventure safari!

Day 1: Nairobi
Arrive in Nairobi, where you will be met at the airport, and transferred to a campsite in Karen, Nairobi. We will enjoy some traditional food, and go over the trip plans.

Day 2: Nairobi
Spend the day exploring Nairobi. Activities include: visiting the David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage, visiting the Karen Blixen Museum, exploring the Nairobi National Park, spa treatements, horse riding, and much more. Your guide can help you find an activity that best suits your personal taste.

Day 3: Nairobi – Maasai Mara
Not only is the Maasai Mara one of Kenya’s greatest wildlife reserves, it is the most famous safari destination in all of Africa. the Maasai Mara is home to over two million wildebeest and zebras, who migrate through the Maasai Mara-Serengeti ecosystem. It was also featured on BBC for having one of the densest lion populations in the world. You can also look forward to seeing a variety of other wildlife, including the mongoose, the hydrax, the cheetah, the elephant, the rhino, and much more!

Day 4: Maasai Mara
We will spend the whole day game driving in this amazing National Park. We will visit the hippo pool, and see all the big cats. If we are lucky, we will see a leopard! Should you desire, you will have the option of adding a balloon experience to your trip.

Day 5: Maasai Mara – Lake Naivasha
While driving to Lake Naivasha, we will stop and visit a Maasai village, where we will learn of their nomadic lifestyle. We will stop for high tea at Elsamere, where Joy and George Adamson once lived.

Day 6: Lake Naivasha
Spend the day exploring Hells Gate National Park. This park is unique in that it has very few predators. Take advantage of the rare opportunity to enjoy a safari on a bicycle! While strolling around in the park, you will notice the geological formations it is famous for.

Day 7: Lake Naivasha – Lake Baringo
Enjoy a walking safari through the Wileli Conservancy. Another park without predators, it is safe to walk in. Stand close to giraffes, zebras, antelopes and flamingos, and marvel at their beauty. We will drive through the honey producing region of Kenya on our way to Lake Baringo.

Day 8: Lake Baringo
Lake Baringo is a birdwatcher’s paradise, due to the 450 species of birds that inhabit the area. Be mesmerized by the beautiful lake, and take advantage of an opportunity to go on a nature walk with a local guide.

Day 9: Lake Baringo – Kerio Valley
Drive torwards Eldoret. We will stop here overnight, and enjoy the stunning views of the Kerio Valley from our campsite.

Day 10: Kerio Valley – Jinja
Cross the border into Uganda, and drive to Jinka. We will stand at the source of the Nile, Africa’s longest river.
Included meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner.

Day 11: Jinja
Jinja is the adrenaline capital of East Africa. With a number of activities, including white-water rafting, bungee jumping and quad biking, this is the opportunity to satisfy your appetite for adventure!

Day 12: Jinja – Kampala
A short drive from Junja, we will arrive in Kampala in time for you to spend the afternoon at your leisure, exploring Uganda’s capital.

Day 13: Kampala to Lake Bunyonyi
We will drive to the base for gorilla trekking.
Included meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner.

Day 14: Lake Bunyonyi
After spending the morning at your leisure, we will transfer to a village closer to the family of gorillas we will be trekking. The village will depend on the location of the gorilla family.

Day 15: Gorilla Trekking
We will start our trek in the morning. While this day is a long trek, being in the presence of the magnificent Mountain Gorilla’s is well worth it.

Day 16: Lake Bunyonyi – Ruhengeri
While on our drive, we will be surrounded by the stunning Parc National des Volcans. The Virunga Volcanoes provide plenty of hiking opportunities. Should you be interested, you can hike to the top of a volcano and see the Golden Monkeys.

Day 17: Ruhengeri
You will have a day at your leisure, where you will be free to experiences the amazing sites surrounding the Virunga Volcanoes. You will have the opportunity to go on a tour of the neighboring villages, where you will learn about their culture and way of life.

Day 18: Ruhengeri – Lake Muhazi
Drive through rural Rwanda, and stop at a small village on Lake Muhazi. Take in the beautiful sunset as it descends across the lake.

Day 19,20: Lake Muhazi – Kigali
Spend the morning visiting the community at Lake Muhazi, and then travel to Kigali. You will have the rest of the tour at your leisure to explore Kigali. Make sure you visit the Genocide Museum – it truly is a site not to miss.
Included meals: Day 19: breakfast, lunch, dinner. Day 20: breakfast.

Day 21: Transfer to the airport for your flight home
