Trip Info

This exciting ride around the Kathmandu Valley takes you out of the city and to some of the best known hill stations on the Valley Rim. From both Nagarkot and Chisapani the views of the Himalaya are simply breath-taking. Along the route, the tour passes the beautiful monastery at Namobuddha as well as the ancient town centers of Pauntie and Dhulikhel and explores the rich rural cultural of the Valley.

Finish up with a visit to the ancient city of Bhaktapur and the world’s tallest statue of Lord Shiva. The ride is a moderate one, with lots of up and down hill and requires a good level of fitness. The trails are mixed jeep track, single track, country roads and short sections on main road. An enjoyable day of mountain biking for anyone. We look forward to guiding you!

Your adventure awaits!

Himalayan Single Track

Himalayan Single Track began as a partnership between Santosh and Jenny and quickly grew to involve our entire team. The partnership was born through a shared passion for mountain biking and it’s development and promotion in Nepal, the desire to explore the best tracks and trails with cyclists from around the world, as well as the need to support local riders. We are also the first company in Nepal to introduce MBLA (Mountain Bike Leaders Award) guide training, and use guides certified to international standards in addition to implementing risk assessment plans to ensure your adventure with Himalayan Single Track is rewarding and safe.
