Trip Info

Fascinating story about the people whose dignity has never perished. Creative and brave separately, strong and invincible as a society – the Warsaw Jews. You’ll discover the everyday realms of Jewish life thanks to historical facts, places and pictures.

The trip begins with the last remains of the ghetto wall, a significant symbol of Jewish oppression. We’ll visit Plac Grzybowski, which is known as the oldest and still functioning Jewish community center in Warsaw, and enter the Nożyk Synagogue. On our way to the place of the fiercest fights during the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising – Muranów district – former “Large Ghetto” area, we’ll stop at the Jewish Cemetery.

The trip ends at Museum of the History of Polish Jews, opened in 2013, just by the monument of Warsaw’s Ghetto Heroes and close to the not to be forgotten Umschlagplatz.

With extra 2hrs – extra $60 you might get a tour of footsteps of Władysław Szpilman, featured in Roman Polanski’s movie The Pianist.
