Trip Info

Join your experienced guide/ driver for a private sightseeing day tour of Jaipur. Arrangements will be made to be picked up from your hotel accommodations at 8 a.m. Your guide is highly trained, speaks English very well, and will care for you throughout the duration of your tour.

Your first stop will be to visit the Amber Fort where you’ll enjoy an exciting elephant ride, if you wish! Next visit the Nahargarh Fort, offering spectacular views of the city of Jaipur. Move onto the City Palace, an imposing blend of traditional Rajput and Mughal architecture. The Jantar Mantar is next, an astronomical observatory built during the period 1727-1734. You will then visit the Mawa Mahal, or the Wind Palace, built so the women of the royal household could observe street festivals without being seen. Next is the Albert Hall Museum, the oldest museum in the state of Rajasthan. See the Birla Temples, hindu temples built out of white marble and sandstone. Finally, head to the Local Market of Jaipur where you can buy local cuisine, souvenirs, materials, and many beautiful artisan products. During your day out you’ll even enjoy an authentic Indian lunch in a local restaurant.
