Island Peak is one of the major climbing peaks and mountaineering spots in Everest Region with an amazing and extremely frozen up West Face that ascends from the Lhotse Glacier. Recognized also as Imja Tse, Island Peak is one of the most well-liked trekking peaks in Nepal for climbing on Himalayas. The major fascination of Island Peak are the arresting Himalayas- Nuptse (7,879m), Lhotse (8,501m), Lhotse Middle Peak (8,410m), Lhotse Shar (8,383m), Makalu (8475m) in the east, Baruntse and Amadablam in the south. Also, you will pass through Chola pass and Kongma La Pass while getting to the top of one of the most popular peaks in the Mount Everest area. Prior to climbing Island Peak, you trek up the Dudh Kosi Valley from Lukla, passing through Namche and Tengboche en route to Kala Patthar and Everest Base Camp. After acclimatizing, we trek up the beautiful Imja Khola Valley towards Island Peak. The normal route for climbing Island Peak is South East flank and South-West Ridge. Usually, the base camp is set at Pareshaya Gyab (5,087m), between Imja Tse and the side moraine of the Imja Glacier. .

This trek offers an excellent opportunity to climb a Himalayan peaks with an exhilarating Trek to the Everest Base Camp and Kala Patthar. The most difficult section is a mixed rock and ice wall at a slope of around 45 degrees which takes us to the narrow summit ridge. Island Peak (6189m.) Expedition including a trek to Everest Base Camp (Teahouse).

Proposed itinerary:
Day 01: Take a flight to Lukla (2800m) early morning and trek to Phakding. Stay overnight at lodge.
Day 02: Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3446m). Stay overnight at lodge.
Day 03: Rest day at Namche Bazaar for acclimatization.
Day 04: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3867m). Stay overnight at lodge.
Day 05: Trek from Tengboche to Pheirche (4252m). Stay overnight at lodge.
Day 06: Trek from Pheriche to Lobuche (4910m). Stay overnight at lodge.
Day 07: Trek from Lobuche to EBC (5360m) to Gorakshep (5160m). Stay overnight at lodge in Gorakshep.
Day 08: Trek from Gorakshep to Kalapaththar (5545m) and trek back to Lobuche. Stay overnight at lodge.
Day 09: Trek back from Lobuche to Dingboche. Stay overnight at lodge.
Day 10: Trek from Dingboche to Chhukung. Stay overnight at lodge.
Day 11: Trek from Chhukung to Island Base Camp. Stay overnight at camp.
Day 12: Climb from Island Base Camp to High Camp. Stay overnight at camp.
Day 13: Summit and trek back to Chhukung. Stay overnight at lodge.
Day 14: Spare day for expedition.
Day 15: Trek back from Chhukung to Dingboche. Stay overnight at lodge.
Day 16: Trek back from Dingboche to Lobuje. Stay overnight at lodge.
Day 17: Lobuje to EBC stay Gorakchep. Stay overnight at lodge.
Day 18: Gorekchhep to tengbochhe. Stay overnight at lodge.
Day 19: Tenbochhe to Namchhe .Stay overnight lodge
Day 20 : Namchhe to Lukla .Stay over night to lodge
Day 21: Lukla to Kathmandu
