Trip Info

Day 1: Hanoi Arrival (B)
Upon your arrival at Tan Son Nhat International airport, our car will pick you up and transfer you to a hotel in Ho Chi Minh City. In the afternoon, we start the tour by visiting Notre Dame Cathedral, the historic Central Post Office, followed by exploring the Reunification Palace, and the remarkable site of the War Remnants Museum.
You are free at leisure to explore the city in the evening.

Day 2: Mekong Delta Tour (B/L/-)
Pick up at your hotel, we start the trip to Mekong Delta River. Enjoy the scenic journey along the way bordered by green rice fields. take a leisurely boat ride along the river, view the stilt houses, fruit plantations and fishing villages along the river bank. Have lunch in local restaurant, enjoy cruising on a hand-rowed sampan under the shadow of the water coconut trees along natural canals. Then enjoy seasonal fruit & honey tea to the sound of “Southern Vietnamese folk music”, performed by locals.

Visit a family business which epitomizes the idyllic rural lifestyle, taste the delicious coconut candy & observe the pastoral life as you roam through the fruit plantation and village.

PM: Back to hotel for overnight.

Day 3: Ho Chi Minh – Hoi An (B)
This morning, you are transfered to the airport to catch flight to Danang. Upon arrival in Danang airport, our driver will pick up you there and transfer to your hotel in Hoi An. Overnight at hotel in Hoi An.

Day 4: Hoi An Cooking Class (B/L)
10.00 am: Our tour guide will pick you up for the cooking class. It begins with a short and picturesque bicycle ride to one of Hoi An’s colorful markets where all of your senses will be aroused. You will have the opportunity to interact with the local sellers and purchase some of the ingredients to be used in the cooking lesson later in the day before learning about some of Hoi An’s and Vietnam’s well known specials. After the lesson, you are able to enjoy your own creations. You are free in the afternoon to explore Hoi An ancient city. Overnight at hotel in Hoian.

Day 5: Hoi An Free At Leisure (B)
Hoi An is also famous for its beautiful sandy beach. Today you will relax to just enjoy sun shine and the beach. If you want some fun activities today, we highly recommend you to join a fishing tour to experience being a local fisherman, or go diving in Cham Island. Overnight at hotel in Hoian.

Day 6: Hoi An – Hanoi City Tour (B)
Enjoy free time until transfer to the airport for your onward flight to Hanoi. Arrival in Hanoi airport, our driver will pick you up there, then escort you to your hotel. In the afternoon, we start the city tour to visit the Temple of literature, which was Viet Nam’s first university and is dedicated to Confucius. Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Ethnology Museum where you have great chance to know about culture, custom, languages, houses of 54 ethnic groups in Vietnam. After that, you will take a cyclo tour to the Old Quarter of Hanoi and enjoy Water Pupet Show at the Thang Long Opera theater.

Day 7: Hanoi – Halong Bay (B/L/D)
After breakfast, our driver will pick you up at your hotel and transfer you to Halong Bay. On arrival in Halong Bay, after check-in, you will spend 24 hours on the traditional Junk Cruise on amazing Halong Bay. In the afternoon cruise around many islands and visit floating villages by bamboo boat, or kayaking to the beach for swimming there. Come back the boat, take part in class cooking and sunset party. Then, we have dinner. Overnight onboard the Cruise

Day 8: Halong Bay – Hanoi (B/L/-)
Morning, visit the Cave (Sung Sot Cave) and keep cruising around the bay before going back to dock to get on bus back to Hanoi. Overnight at your hotel in Hanoi.

Day 9: Hanoi – Luang Prabang (B/-/-)
Enjoy relaxing time in the morning until transfer you to the airport for onward flight to Luang Prabang. Upon arrival in Luang Prabang, you will meet your guide from Asia Eyes Travel and escort you to hotel.

Rest of the day is at leisure. In the evening, you can wander around the city and the night market to discover local life of Luang Prabang.

Day 10: Kuangsi Waterfall – Half Day City Tour In Luang Prabang (B/L/-)
After breakfast, we start visit the Kuangsi Waterfall. En route, we’ll stop to visit Ban Na Oune, a small H’mong village and also Ban Tha Pane, a small village inhabited by the Khmu people. We’ll enjoy a picnic lunch near the waterfall. Transfer back the city and visit National Museum, the former Royal Palace and Wat Xiengthong. Dinner on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 11: Elephant & Soft Hiking Tour To Khmu Village (B/L/-)
After breakfast, we take a short drive to the Spirit Resort where we will experience the protected Elephants at the “Elephant Park Project” along the Nam Khan riverbanks. From here we can enjoy the 1 hour Elephant ride on the back of a protected Asian Elephant.

It is then followed by a short and easy hiking tour which will lead us out into the Fair Trek project area where villages profit directly from our visit. A small Khmu community lives below a high rising mountain range. Depending on the time available a Lao style Lunch will be served at Ban Houay Fai and return to Tad Sae waterfall, boat ride back to Lao Spirit Resort. Then we are taken back to Luang Prabang. Dinner on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 12: Luang Prabang – Vang Vieng (B/L/-)
After breakfast we visit Central market. Then we travel by roads to mountainous town of Vang Vieng. Today our intrepid journey will be strenuous as we drive along one of the most scenic but also one of the roughest routes in Asia. In the afternoon, we arrive in Vang Vieng, a small and tranquil town, which is nestled on a bend of the Nam Song River.

After check into our hotel room, we will embark on a boat for a well-paced trip along the Nam Song River, exploring the breathtaking mountain landscape. Dinner on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 13: Vang Vieng – Vientiane (B/L/-)
Early morning, we drive out of town to Vientiane. Along the way we make a stop to visit Vang Xang, a famous archeological site dating back 11th century. After about 2 hours drive we will get to Vientiane, the charming and fascinating capital of Laos.

This afternoon we will explore the town; with Wat Sisaket which is the oldest temple still standing in Vientiane. This amazing structure features remarkable frescoes and Buddha images. We continue sightseeing by visiting Haw Prakeo, the former royal temple of Laos monarchy, which previously housed the famous Emerald Buddha Statue. Then visit the imposing Patuxay Monument, which is well known as Vientiane’s own Arc de Triumph before continuing to the famous That Luang Stupa. Return to the hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure. Dinner on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 14: Vientiane – Siem Reap (B/L/-)
Free morning until we are transferred to the airport for a short flight to the next destination – Siem Reap.

Upon arrival, you will be met and warmly welcomed by our guide. Then we transfer to the hotel for check in.

The same afternoon, we first start our visit to a jungle covered temple of Ta Prohm; it is an incredible sight. There are enormous fig trees and gigantic creepers which embrace themselves in the stone foundations of the structure giving the impression of man’s creation being reclaimed by the powerful forces of nature.

Day 15: Angkor Sightseeing Tour (B/L/-)
Breakfast at hotel. Visit Angkor Thom, the South Gate of Angkor Thom, Bayon Temple, built from the late 12th century to the early 13th century by King Jayavarman VII and consists of 54 towers, the Royal Enclosure, the Phimeanakas, the Elephants Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King. Then visit Ta Prohm, surrounded by jungle.

Visit Angkor Wat, the largest temples in world and covers an area of 200 hectares and surrounded by moat and an exterior wall measuring 1300 meters x 1500 meters.

Early evening, you will be taken by Tuk Tuk, a small open-sided taxi common in Cambodia, to cruise around the suburb of Siem Reap town and for a blessing ceremony by Buddhist monks for happiness, prosperity and safety for your journey.

Day 16: Phnom Kulen’s National Park (B/L/-)
After having breakfast, our guide will pick you up and transfers you to Phnom Kulen’s National Park, which is located 48 kilometers north of Siem Reap and its name means “mountain of the lychees”. Upon reaching the top of the hill, you will be greeted by the ancient temples made of volcanic stones and bricks. As a pilgrim site, you will witness many people visiting the temple to pray to Buddha and the Hindu gods at the Prasat Krau Romeas, Sra Damrei and Rong Chen. One of the most attractive sights in the park is the active pagoda where you can see a giant reclining Buddha statue.

Other attractions at the site are the carvings of siva lingas and yonis. They are the carvings of the male and female genitals of the Hindu gods and goddesses on the river bedrock. Return and overnight at hotel in Siem Reap.

Day 17: Siem Reap – Kampong Thom – Phnom Penh (B/L/-)
After breakfast we drive to Phnom Penh around 5 – 6 hours via Kampong Thom, travel just outside Kampong Thom to see key archeological sites, starting with Sambor Prei Kuk, perhaps the most important grouping of pre-Angkorian monuments in Cambodia.

Before the rise of the Angkor, this was the capital of Chenla during the sixth century, known as Isanapura. Today over 100 small temple ruins sit peacefully in a forest setting. Explore the main central complex and gain an insight into the early architectural styles of Cambodia. On the way visit archeological “Naga Bridge” at Kompong Kdei.

We arrive in Phnom Penh in the late afternoon. Check into the hotel and free to relax afterwards. Dinner on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 18: Phnom Penh City Tour (B/L/-)
After breakfast we drive out of town to visit Choeung Ek museum, between 1975 and 1978 about 17,000 men, women, children, and infants detained and tortured at S-21 prison were transported to the extermination camp of Choeung Ek.

We then return to town to visit the National Museum, Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda, Independence Monument, Russian Market, & Wat Phnom. Then back to the hotel, a free night to explore the city yourself or relax. Dinner on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 19: Phnom Penh Departure (B)
You are free at leisure until the transfers to the airport for your flight to home.
