With mythical landscapes and a culture that is a vague cross between China, Thailand and India, Burma is also known as Myanmar. It has an ancient history filled with treasures and stories and a people so varied there are over 100 languages. Burma offers a magical journey through time and cultures. Where else could you experience the stunning sight of the Bagan Temples, the beauty of Inle Lake and explore literally thousands of gilded pagodas scattered throughout the country.

This fabulous cultural immersion tour visits all the amazing sights of Burma including the tribal communities near the hill station of Kalaw.

We have plenty of time to explore Inle Lake, Mandalay and ancient Bagan.

The third week of the journey takes us south to the Buddhist pilgrimage site of Kyaiktiyo, the Golden Rock, with time to wander through the decaying British colonial streets of Mawlamyaing.
