Discover the amazing wildlife and landscapes of Peru on this fantastic multi activity tour. This four-day trip will introduce you to the Inca Trail and all that it has to offer.
Day one will start with a pick up from your hotel in Cusco. You’ll be transferred to the Sacred Valley of the Incas where you can explore the village of Ollantaytambo. Here you will enjoy a quick breakfast before heading on a trek to Open Malaga. Once you reach your destination at 4,330m above sea level, you’ll begin your bike ride down the mountain. Along the way, you will see amazing canyons, ghost towns, orchards and natural attractions. Once you reach the village of Huamanmarca, you’ll be transported to the town of Santa Maria. Here, you’ll have the opportuntity to raft or canoe down the Vilcanota River. Finish your first day off with a stop at Santa Rosa where you’ll learn about coffee beans, coca leaves and fruits.
The second day of the tour will bring you on an excursion on the Inca Trail. During the trip, you will have the opportuntity to learn about flora and fauna, see many bird species and try some fresh fruit. You’ll stop at the village of Kellomayo for a quick lunch before visiting the crossing waterfalls, the thermal baths of Cocalmayo and the town of Santa Teresa.
Day three will be a day of adventure and learning! You’ll meet your guide in the early morning for an amazing introduction to Machu Picchu. You’ll learn about archaeological remains and much more before heading there the next day. If you’d like, you’ll have the opportunity to try zip lining, to explore some waterfalls and to visit a coca plantation. Later in the day, you will visit Aguas Calientes where you’ll spend the night.
Day four will be your final day of this tour. You will take an amazing climb to Machu Picchu to see the beautiful sunrise. Once at Machu Picchu, you will see attractions such as the citadel, the archaeological complex and much more. After your visit, you will head back to Aguas Calientes to end your tour!
