Trip Info
From Marrakech, where you will be picked up at your hotel, we drive to Toubkal National Park at the foot of Mount Toubkal, the highest peak in North Africa. The little village of Imlil is where most trekking routes start from in this area, and we too will start our walk from here. We will walk up to the small village of Aremd, situated at an altitude of 1,900 meters. From here we have a beautiful view over the surrounding valley. On the way you will be able to see traditional Berber villages and Jbel Toubkal (4,167 meters). After about 1 – 1.5 hours, we arrive at a traditional mountain gîte (guesthouse) to enjoy a wonderful lunch. From here we will have a spectacular view over the Mizane Valley. After lunch you can explore the village a bit more, and we then start the descent of about 30 minutes back to Imlil. From there, your guide and driver will take you back to Marrakech and drop you off at your hotel!
