Trip Info

Your journey begins pedaling to a serene wildlife estuary. We commonly see seals, ducks and their ducklings, eagles, otters, and during salmon runs we occassionaly see bears. Next we pedal through Ward Cove to explore remnants of the vital industries that created Alaskan communities throughout history. Our guests will learn how these industries not only created Alaska, but how they are utilized today in this cultural tour. We give our guests the opportunity to pull a real Alaskan crabpot and see how Alaskans subsist for food and fun in their everyday life. We end our journey returning to the float house where we will satisfy your appetite with a wonderful Alaskan style picnic.
