Dog sled on the original trail that the Iditarod Sled Dog Race is based on- The Old Minto Mail Trail. This is a 60 mile round trip dog sledding adventure from Nenana (1 hour south of Fairbanks) to Old Minto on the Tanana River. You can either follow your guide on your own sled (mushing school required beforehand) or sit back and relax while you enjoy the wild country inhabited by moose, lynx, wolves, and hibernating bears.
