Best period for hiking is the period of June-September. This tour also can be extended by adding one day sightseeing around Kazbegi such as Gergeti Trinity Church and Truso valley.
- Chaukhi Massif - Mountainous area characterizes with mountainous small rivers, sharp peaks and alpine meadows (Elevation from 2160 to 2860 m).
- Chaukhi Pass - is located at the 3338 from sea level. From the top of the pass, you have panorama views over the Great Caucasus mountain range.
- Abudelaurebi lakes - White, Blue and Green lakes are located in the alpine zone sorrounded by sharp peaks and meadow flowers.
2 days hiking from Juta to Roshka is a superb trek for hikers wishing to explore Caucasus mountains. We travel along Caucasus mountains, visit Ananuri complex and then afterwards start hiking in Juta valley. We follow upstream to the rivers and overnight in tents in the wild nature. In the morning, we set off our camp and start hiking towards the Chaukhi pass (at 3338 m above the sea level) . In the afternoon, we descend into another region – Khevsureti. We visit three beautiful lakes – White, Blue and Green lakes- of Abudelaurebi. Afterwards, we hike to the village of Roshka and return to Tbilisi. The tour includes two days hiking of 23 km, camping in the alpine meadows and walking around the sharp peaks of Great Caucasus Mountains.
