Trip Info

And if once there, in the mountains, we take the time to carefully observe “what is done” the fabulous setting in which we operate as alpinists and walkers while trekking. These Alps, we know them well and we are all sensitive to the dazzling beauty of the snowy peaks, glaciers, rock walls, or grasslands and alpine forests! But to reach the summit and return to the safe valley, the schedule is often crowded and usually does not allow us to be distracted for too long by the amazing color of a rock, the shimmering glow of a crystal, the “S” intriguing a pleated layer, parallelism dark lines moraines, the incredible strength of a flower lost at high altitude, or the surprising variety of insects encountered at the surface of a glacier! The tour takes place in the Tourtmagne valley, wild and unspoilt side valley on the left bank of the Rhone Valley. Overnight in Turtmannhütte and easy trip to the glaciers of Brunegg and Turtmann on under the leadership of a geologist mountain guide.

***
