Trip Info

The tour stops once your stomach is full. Sitting at street-side stalls to taste local foods, cheers “bottoms-up” with friends. Hanoi is a paradise of snacks and within this tour, you have chances to try some of them. The walk starts at 18:00 so it’s easy for you to join after returning from a city tour, or a Halong bay tour.

Hanoi old quarter is a paradise of street food. Enjoy “banh mi” sandwich, hot floating cakes, Bun Cha grill pork vermicelli, cold beer or mix fruits. Visit the Heritage House and Kim Ngan silver communal house. Immerse into the busy life of the Hanoi streets.

Our tour guide will pick you up from the hotel lobby and walk with you to Banh Mi 25, the best “Banh Mi” sandwich shop of Hanoi. For anyone who’s never had banh mi, it’s a baguette filled with assorted meat, shredded vegetables and pate. Popular meat is normally bbq pork, but various places offer various types of meat or vegetarian option. In Banh Mi 25, the taste and flavour of “Banh Mi” are really strange and attractive. Try it!

Walk along Hang Ngang and Hang Dao “clothes” streets to see the typical architecture of Hanoi old quarter throughout its history. Sit down at a street-side stall on Hang Bac “silver” street to enjoy hot floating cakes, well-cooked with green bean in a sweet soup.

Visit Kim Ngan “silver” communal house, the main meeting point of jewelry producers and traders in ancient times. On the street, you will see artisans introduce the history of the traditional crafts, displaying and selling jewelry.

If the Heritage House at 87 Ma May street is still open, we will visit inside. Our tour guide will explain the lifestyle of Hanoians, and the structure of a house in its original version.

Walk with our tour guide to Ta Hien beer corner. Opt for some roasted peanuts before enjoying “the cheapest draught beer of the world” voted by Lonely Planet experts in 2011. Bottom-up the beer during chatting with friends. Optional: If you don’t like beer, you can request to change into To Tich street corner and enjoy a cool mix-fruit.

Finish your street food tour in “Bun Cha” the most famous grilled-pork-vermicelli bowl, the most popular dish of Hanoians.

End of your tour at your hotel.
